David Kurvink

Director of Kids Play Tennis / Tennis Instructor

David Kurvink is executive director of the Kids Play Tennis Community Outreach Program (KPT). KPT is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the development of quality youth tennis in the Lehigh Valley. Children learn tennis while using age appropriate equipment. Specifically, graduated age levels have their own designated racquet sizes, ball weights, net heights, and court dimensions to provide ease and enjoyment of play that coincide with natural growth stages. This strategy accelerates the acquisition of tennis skills and promotes the fun of playing the game with other children in the same age grouping. KPT’s instructional format and guidelines follow the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) Net Generation initiatives.

KPT offers its programs at Oakmont Tennis Club during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Visit the Kids Play Tennis website at or its Kids Play Tennis Community Outreach Program Facebook page if you wish to register for any of the programs.
